  I have known Dr. Thornton for about 15 years. I found her to be one of the best veterinarians I have ever worked with. She is compassionate, knowledgeable and thorough. She understands both pets and pet parents and is a great very good with diagnosing and treating pet's medical issues. Dr. Thornton and her team at Schuylkill Veterinary Hospital are to be commended on their years of service to the human/animal bond and to their community.

  My family and I have been clients of Schuylkill Veterinary Hospital for over 25 years. Dr. Thornton has cared for all 7 of our pets during that time. Over the years, I have been very impressed how Schuylkill Veterinary Hospital has stayed abreast of the ever-changing veterinary medical landscape while practicing in a rural community atmosphere. Dr. Thornton has always informed us of the latest treatments available for our pets, yet managed to work with us so that we have been able to stay in a financial and emotional space where we were comfortable. The staff has been unfailingly professional, well educated, and compassionate toward our pets and us. We are fortunate to have Schuylkill Veterinary Hospital in this area. I can’t imagine a more qualified and caring team available anywhere.

  Excellent staff and Dr. I have been a client for many years and love taking by dogs here. They are the best. Compassionate, caring, thorough, listens to what you have to say, answers all questions, couldn't ask for more. Up to date in their knowledge and skills and are a pleasure to work with. I would highly recommend them to everyone.
